Family Friendly - Mexican people are known for their strong family bonds and love for children so you will be hard pressed to find a place that isn't "family friendly." This icon notes the venues that are especially accomodating or that specifically cater to children.

Fluent English Spoken - These locations have at least one full-time staff member or owner who speaks fluent English.

Credit Cards Accepted - Because of a high luxury tax, there is only a limited amount of restaurants and shops that accept credit cards (and many of those that do accept credit cards, only do so with a minimum balance). This is important to note when planning your ATM withdrawals and shopping trips.

Ocean / Bay View - There's nothing like watching the sunset over Zihuatanejo Bay, with the colors of the sky and water changing every five minutes. Locations listed with this icon will afford you the best vista. (Remember that there are many other great views including the surrounding hills and, of course, the foot traffic of downtown restaurants!)
Wheelchair Easy Access - Recent years have found some marked improvements in wheelchair access in the downtown area with new sidewalk cutouts and replaced surfaces. There is still much to be done towards easy accessibility, though. Still, local business owners want your business and will do anything they can to insure you have as much access and comfortablity as possible.
